used landscaping equipment

what is the easiest way to prepare the land (which has not been used for a long time) for planting?
house we bought in Sydney with large front and rear hard.I land is so yard.the want to do some landscaping. How much is landsacping professional? I'm on a tight budget.can some body give me idea of hiring equipment planting. How should I prepare the bed for the garden?
I'm kind of "natural" and this gardener is what I did to prepare my garden beds: First, I did not dig up the grass in the area. I covered with black plastic (if it is in spring or summer) or start to add layers of organic material and cook everything and putrefaction in the fall and winter ….. I use shredded paper, peanut shells, worm compost, algae, hamster cage bedding, which is 100% pine leaf litter and about 7 layers of newspaper on top. Wet well and leave it over …. in winter spring or summer, I would do the same as above, except leave out the paper layers because you will want to work the land immediately … You can also use sawdust instead of hamster bedding, but it can be raw, natural wood, without paint, without paint …. Buy a garden claw their improvement store home or check online at Target.com or Kmart.com …. This will be the most useful tool ever going to use and saves time and back! Till the soil with your garden claw and maintain wet down each day. Before planting, buying a 40 lbs. Milorganite bag, some bags of fertilizer and manure sterilized (enough to add to 2 inches of the area covered) and a block of Canadian peat. The layer of compost and manure and peat in the soil. Now you are ready to plant. After planting some Milorganite generously spread over the entire garden. Use the Milorganite each month. Be sure to seal the bag up tight if you do not use it all. It decompose rapidly and foul odor. (Use the rest of the Milorganite around trees on the lawn, anywhere. Do not burn anything and decomposes quickly. Finally, go to a sporting goods store that sells bait and buy some red worms. Toss in your garden. We will gladly help break down organic matter and add something of his own foundry! Worm can be found at local hardware stores. I've only been able to find algae in GardensAlive.com …… Good luck and enjoy your garden! It will be a very rewarding experience …
