It is no secret that cities generate a huge amount of light at night. City dwellers make greater use of window shades to sleep than anything else, and from the country the way to the nearest town is often identified by the distant glow of the streetlights in disseminating high in the atmosphere. I'm according to light pollution, like a starry sky on a clear night, is one of the most amazing things you'll ever see, but all of this excess light can be definitely a good use. Whether it's "burn" landscape photos or satellite images of the city of bright contours, photography is perhaps the only positive outcome of the management of low light.

Night photography differs from the popular counterpart in several important ways. The lack of a prime single light source means that the photos often have less contrast and quality of the shadow, but this is compensated in the range of light. A photo taken in a city can draw the light of incandescent lamps, fluorescent office lights, and sunlight reflected by a full moon. This creates a situation that is almost impossible for white balance, and one should try, as the glory of photography at night is uncontrollable variables. With long exposures, the camera sensors to extract and amplify light for if it is available, often with fantastic results and unexpected. Changing a light or passing cars can drastically alter the image, fog and cloud can diffuse clouds and reflect the lights of the rebellious city of incredible beauty, and a constant lack of shade structures and often gives objects a surreal existence. Count array of colors from white unbalanced light sources and the camera becomes a kaleidoscope. However, night photography is an incredible way to convert part of the city extra light in the photos are, more often than not, a pleasant surprise.

Those interested can see some of my nights and panoramas the picture on my website linked. I've been filming in and around Richmond, VA for a number of years without even a dent in your generous offer photo ops.
