Artist name recently produced contemporary paintings and sculpture on the theme of football?
A top London store promoted this work artists about three years ago and developed a full-color brochure of the landscape – the work is highly individualized with more than a touch of nostalgia, I'm not sure but I think the booklet could been called "the party" I would like to know the name of this artist and if possible obtain a copy of the brochure of the collection.
There is only one contemporary artist I know who has specialized in sports scenes and became famous for it and his name is Leroy Neiman. Indeed likely that the shop uses Neiman, who is well known and his style is very recognizable. Before Neiman, during the 1930s to 1950, there was an American artist who is became very famous for painting scenes of sports and his name was George Bellows.
