landscaping for privacy

Is there a way to divide a shrub or small tree, so it will become multi-storey?
I have very little scenery and am looking for to plant a lot of bushes to add some privacy to my property. With all I need is not really an option financially to build a fence privacy or even buy several bushes. Is there any way to plant a few and then they divide to multiply over the years? Or can I get seeds somehow? Any advice would be helpful. Thank you!
Shrubs can not be divided, such as light bulbs or other perennials. If you are a patient type, I recommend to buy 1 gallon containers of bush elected. This is the most economical size and you will be amazed at how quickly they grow if cared for properly. Avoid the trap of most fall into bushes planted too close to each other or nearby structures. Do your homework and know the mature size of the plant to decide, otherwise you'll be facing the problem of disposing of branches and overgrown in subsequent years. When considering the choice of shrubs of different densities growth, sometimes a shrub with "see through" foliage is better than a solid screen. Also consider the mixed shrub hedge. Alternating textures flowers bloom or combinations vs. evergreen vs. deciduous add interest and minimize leakage problems arise.
