full sun landscaping plants

Planting around my back yard?
We just had a stamped concrete patio installed and now I need the landscape. It is kidney shaped with a fire in the hole and a bower / Arbor on the right side. Our patio faces east, so they get almost full sun for most of the day during summer. It's a blank canvas right now and really want something pretty easy to maintain and not with a lot of flowers to attract bees and I have four children playing in the backyard. Blueberry bought dormant raspberry plants and roses cover and a dwarf Japanese maple, but I have not planted yet. I would like any advice on where to put the plants I bought and what to buy other plants around my yard. I also love to have a vine to vine type grow at the roundabout, but there will be a Jacuzzi in the coming year must be capable of withstanding the steam. Thanks in advance for any advice I can give!
Suggest the plant raspberries in pots – highly invasive, will take over. Many varieties of Jasmine are poisonous, but delicious smell (very tempting for children to drink the nectar like honeysuckle). What about climbing rose for the roundabout? O Clemantis.
