Linseed oil can be dangerous for my dog when I use in my landscape?

A friend told me that flaxseed oil can be used to add a "wet" watch my rock garden in my backyard. I've seen the results and I think it looks good. My concern is I have a dog and I worry that rocks and lick her sick. My dog is sick and linseed oil was being drawn to him first?

I seriously doubt your dog would be attracted by the oil linseed oil is not a type of food, mineral smells ish. i have never heard of the use of rocks to give a "wet", as you say
