I'm trying to print my own wedding invitations using Microsoft Word and can not make the right impression.?
The size of the cardboard is 4 and 7/8th for 7 in a landscape format. I have put my custom paper size to do that and my margins, but keeps the first cut of two lines front and printing is high. When I look in the print preview looks good. any ideas?
Wifey and I did a few years ago using WordStar for Windows. The trick is that your printer is not cooperating. Not all printers do. Get some extra cardboard to make this experiment. You'll need it. When using MS Word, can define a custom size paper and feed the printer – but the printer could also have a need to have a custom definition. In that case, you need to create a grid. (Use the table function in MS Word). Fill out the exact size of your card so that is 4-7/8 by 7 inches the area filled now play with the top margin and channel settings and how to place the grid in the print area. Check also for your printer with a way to set the paper size. Often it is the interaction between the Word and the printer that causes this problem. Check the manual or help files of the printer to determine how to set a default size, ie no one in the predefined list of population sizes.
